A perfectly positioned greenfield block on the corner of 163 Abbott Street, Cairns, QLD will hold two towers, the first being a 222-room hotel with function rooms, restaurants and bars. The second, a 110-room apartment complex, will be expertly constructed and released for sale.


The development will be a landmark complex reflecting the lush rainforests surrounding Cairns. Development will begin mid 2017 with completion expected mid-2019.

This property will reflect an inner-city urban experience, with development planned for a 300-room premier hotel and a street food dining experience that will attract locals and visitors alike.


Construction will begin late 2018 with operations expected to begin in late 2019.

Adani Australia Coal Terminal Pty Ltd has appointed POSCO Engineering and Construction Australia Pty Ltd (POSCO E&C) as a preferred EPC Contractor for the construction of Abbot Point Coal Terminal 0.

ACT Law Courts PPP Project

Accommodating the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, Magistrate Court and Children's Court, the state of the art facility will have a four storey new link building fronting Vernon Circle joining the existing Magistrates Court and refurbished Supreme Court Buildings.


It will feature eighteen courtrooms - five fitted to accommodate juriess - a dedicated witness suite, interpreters facilities and a framework to support the hearing impaired. 

AIR5428 Pilot Training Systems Facilities Project (J0024) RAAF Base Pearce & RAAF Base Gingin

Laing O'Rourke has been appointed as the Managing Contractor for Project J0024, AIR5428 Pilot Training System (PTS) Facilities project. The PTS Facilities project will be responsible for key infrastructure at the RAAF Base at East Sale in Victoria, and RAAF Bases Pearce and Gingin in Western Australia, as well as related minor works in South Australia and New South Wales.

Air7000 Phase 2B Project - RAAF Edinburgh

Lendlease' South Australian Building Business has been awarded the Managing Contractor role for the delivery phase of this large scale Commonwealth project.

Whilst registrations for trade packages have been concluded the Managing Contractor is now seeking specific registration for the Main Apron Reconstruction Civil Engineering Trade Package. 

Amrun (South of Embley) Project

The Amrun Project is a greenfield bauxite operation in the Weipa / Aurukun region of Western Cape York in Far North Queensland. The new development will eventually replace the existing East Weipa mine centre and develop the high quality bauxite reserves available south of the Weipa Peninsula.

In late 2015, the Rio Tinto Board approved development of the first stage of the project, up to 22.8mtpal. Construction of the Amrun Project will take approximately three years and provide employment for 1,100 (at peak).
